This is my FAVORITE restaurant in the 757. I no longer reside in VA but when I visit I always go to Jose Tequilas in Newport News. I've tried the other locations and there's no comparison. The food is always great, best chicken tortilla soup I've ever eaten, it is full of chicken I love everything I order especially the fresh guacamole! The drinks are great, my favorite is the "Latin Lover" But, what exceeds all is the service. The staff is so friendly and efficient.From the moment the door swings open until you leave they are smiling and offering exceptional hospitality
I love this place, food is always delicious, pancho villa dish is one of my favorites has a great variety of vegetarian options and their sangria is a must, always top just as their other cocktails. their atmosphere and customer service is always wonderful. Thank you!
My favorite Mexican restaurant here! We moved across the country & it has been difficult to find new favorites here but this place is so awesome! It’s large and has a fun “night out” atmosphere whether you’re with family or starting a late night out! They have an extensive menu & absolutely everything is delicious with pretty presentation. Their chupacabra tacos are sooooo delicious—my favorite dish! And their drinks are delicious too!
I was in a rush to watch a movie so my sit down was pretty quick but such a beautiful restaurant, good music, and A LOT of food. I ordered an appetizer and some tacos. The tacos are huge, I couldn’t even finish my appetizer and could only eat one of the tacos and take home, so unless you haven’t eaten all day, know their portions are HUGE. Plus the side of beans and rice. So good. So well seasoned, full of flavor. The waiters were nice and very attentive. I’ll definitely return.
I went here with my son for lunch as mexican is our favorite and this place topped the best we've had. The service from Raoul was above and beyond he was friendly courteous attentive and good. He amazed my son by remembering his name when I said it one time. Thank you great job and the fried ice cream we will dream about it tonight. The atmosphere is warm welcoming and not "excessive" like some places are. This place was great.
Second time there and even better than the first. Food is amazing and the portions are huge.
Came here for lunch with a couple friends and I can surely say the drinks are strong and the food’s delicious! The Bad Hombre was excellent, as well as the Cucumber and Jalapeno Margarita. The taco bowl with beef was excellent and the taco shell was something else. Would recommend if you’re looking for a good Mexican place in this part of Newport News.
The second-best place that I have been to for birria tacos. The service and drinks were so good. Will definitely travel to come back again. 10/10
